DBP is bound by the Commonwealth Privacy Act 1988 and complies with the National Privacy Principles.
If you have any form of non-commercial contact with DBP it is likely that it is because you are one of our stakeholders. A stakeholder is someone who is important to DBP's business including the operation of the Dampier to Bunbury Natural Gas Pipeline ("DBNGP"). In some cases we collect personal information in relation to our stakeholders. DBP's stakeholders include landowners along the route of the pipeline.
If you have a commercial relationship with DBP it is also likely that we would collect personal information relevant to that relationship.
Wherever reasonable and practicable personal information is collected directly from the individual concerned. DBP also collects information regarding land ownership from the Department of Planning and Infrastructure.
In accordance with the National Privacy Principles you have the right to ask whether we hold personal information about you, to review that information and request that incorrect information be amended or deleted. DBP may, if necessary, ask that a request be set out in writing. We will supply, correct or delete any information we hold about you as soon as reasonably possible.

Alinta, through its wholly owned subsidiary, Alinta Asset Management, is contracted by DBP to operate the DBNGP on a day-to-day basis and to manage the expansion of the pipeline.
